Another chess festival, Nõmme Open, was held at Tallinn University of Technology. 20 grandmasters from around the world participated in the tournament! The games were held at TalTech. On 10.06.2024, the reception by the rector of the university Mr. Tiit Land was organized in the Senate Hall to give thanks to the supporters of the event. The CEO of Scanweld AS Mr. Indrek Küttis said that our cooperation with the  chess event organizer Urmas Randmaa is important and noted various cooperation projects with TalTech. In addition to the chess tournament, Scanweld also supports the TalTech students Formula Student Team Tallinn project, the Energy Camp for kids at 7-18 years and of course, Estonian-Latvian Basketball League team TalTech.
